Gospel Technique
Prerequisite: Beginning, Intermediate Piano Instruction. Music Theory.
This advanced keyboard course was constructed with the church musician in mind. The student is exposed to elements of improvisation, form and analysis, and repertoire which classify gospel style. Gospel Technique teaches the student to unite his or her musical abilities and empowers him or her to freely express those skills in the church setting.
